Here at HOLM we love leather - from the unparralled look ,  to the smell ,  to the physical properties of strength, longevity, resistance to damage and waterproof qualities - we love it ! 

As it’s a wholly natural product, each leather piece is unique and will develop it's own desirable patina over time, which will only keep getting better and better.

Our leathers are sourced from the finest artisan tanneries in  Scotland and Italy.

Waxed Canvas

Waxed canvas is exactly as it sounds! 100% cotton canvas which is skilfully treated with wax to create a fabric that is bound with fantastic natural waterproof qualities.

We use the world’s finest quality waxed cotton, which has been manufactured in Scotland since 1864 and it's just downright wonderful stuff.

Originally used in rainwear for North Sea fishermen - it’s not only stood the test of time, but proved those Scottish textile weavers know a thing or two about producing waterproof fabric. Even the Queen is partial to a bit of waxed canvas - especially when visiting Scotland!

The nature of waxed canvas means it has fantastic longevity which can easily compare to leather. Like leather, waxed canvas will look even better with age, developing it’s own unique and charming antique patina.

Components

Solid brass - Chosen for strength and durability, and the fact it always looks great.

Professional grade threads - not your average domestic stuff but industry standard, making every stitch rot proof & built to last. 

Zippers - only the finest quality YKK metal zippers will do.

All items are either stitched on industrial machines or hand stitched.
